About Random Rab
Random Rab is a Colorado-based artist that has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music for over two decades, captivating audiences around the world with his unique soundscapes and live performances.
In the late 90s, Rab moved to San Francisco and became heavily involved in the thriving underground music scene. He began experimenting with cutting edge sounds and techniques, incorporating live instruments and vocals into his productions. This fusion of organic and electronic elements became a hallmark of Rab’s sound.
In 2001, Rab released his debut solo album, Epicycle, which garnered critical acclaim and established him as a rising star in the electronic music world. He went on to release over a dozen more albums, including Visurreal, Release, Arose, Awoke, Anew, The Elucidation of Sorrow, Formless Edge and most recently, On Magnificence. He has also been featured in films and special projects for National Geographic, Adobe, Google, Red Bull, Teton Gravity Research, Obscura Digital and other international clients.
Rab’s live performances are an immersive experience, combining intricate visuals, custom analogue lighting effects and hypnotic beats to create a truly transformative and uplifiting atmosphere. He has performed at festivals around the world, including Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle, Shambhala, Boom, Ozora, and of course 10 years of performing for sunrise at Envision Festival in Costa Ricav where he has become a fan favorite. Random Rab was highlighted as the main stage performer during the eclipse for 3 eclipse festivals including Eclipse 2012 Australia, and Symbiosis Eclipse both in Nevada and Oregon. Rab was also a headliner for the legendary Great Convergence festival at the Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt.
Random Rab continues to push the boundaries of electronic and acoustic music, experimenting with new sounds, new collaborators, and distinct visions for the future of sound. With his unwavering commitment to his art, Random Rab continues to be a true pioneer in the world of electronic music.
